The basic purpose of our organization, in accordance with its founding, is to serve as an auxiliary to the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Mu Lambda Chapter, and assist them in achieving their ideas and goals to make civic, financial, and service contributions to the community.

To support the goals and projects of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Mu Lambda Chapter,
through political, civil, educational, cultural, and social activities.
We hope to serve our members in many ways and become familiar with the ladies and activities that make our organization special. We believe that our experience and involvement in supporting our mission and purpose make each member valuable to our organization.
Since 1950, we have served as an auxiliary to the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Mu Lambda Chapter, and assist them in achieving their ideas and goals to make civic, financial, and service contributions to the community. Today we continue our efforts to support the men of Alpha.
We continue to establish civic and community organizations through financial assistance and voluntary services. To bring to the community programs that include cultural, educational, and social activities that meet the needs and interests of its residents.

This annual event contributes financial assistance for our scholarships. This event is a luncheon with scholarship recipients. It includes Games, Prizes and a whole lot of fun!!!
We partner with the Mu Lambda Chapter to provide assistance to the House of Ruth. Founded in 1976 as D.C.’s first women's shelter, their mission is to help women, children and families in greatest need.
We provide scholarships to students in keeping with the organization's established cultural and educational goals. Each applicatant is evaulated by a criteria and guidelines for awarding scholarships.
